Maybe I'm being a bit naiive here, but on a system that has no defined schema
whatsoever for the data stored in it, what is wrong with this?
(I do think that namespaces that have defined, and maybe enforced, data schemas
is a good idea, too... it would make processing much easier, and still allow the
flexibility that is currently there.)
