I think it would make sense to have a flagging system that highlights
'errors' to people who are editing / have edited that area instead of
having a centralised mailbox for it.
Steve, you mentioned about privacy being considered in the new version
of OSM - does that mean that we will be able to assign people, with
their opt-in permission, to their edits?
