[OSM-talk] Plugin for mass wayfication of segments

I wrote a JOSM plugin to create ways from a lot of segments. It create 
one way per "segment chain", ie segments that follow each others with 
the same alignment and no intersection.

Segments that already belong to a way are ignored.

I made it to start tagging large zone with lot of segments but still no 
ways. You can watch the result for Paris on my blog :

Recommended use :
- Create and tag ways for roundabout using the normal josm way tool
- Select the whole zone
- Use menu "ways/create linear ways"
- All newly create ways are selected, so you can tag them all 
"unclassified" for example
- Re-tag ways that are primary or secondary


It's also handy for creating ways on dual-carriage :
- Select a few kilometers of segments
- Create ways
- Select next few kilometers of segments, with a few overlapping over 
previous selected segments
- Create ways
- Select next few kilometers of segments, with a few overlapping over 
previous selected segments
- Create ways
- Select next few kilometers of segments, with a few overlapping over 
previous selected segments
- Create ways
- ...
