[OSM-talk] Newbie Question

Hi Folks 

Sorry for taking up bandwidth on something that has probably been
resolved a few times.  I have tried searching but must be sing the wrong
terms.  I would be grateful for any assistance as I think this is a most
worthwhile idea and I would like to make a fairly major mapping
contribution.

My problem is that I can't find my map to edit it.

I uploaded a gpx file of the 1st 5 kilometres of the Essex way (and a
few nearby roads) which begins at Epping underground station.  The file
(walk1.gpx) was accepted and when I go to the slippy map and click on
the GPS traces tab I can see the file is there.  I just cannot figure
out how to view it in the editor so that I can turn it into a way.

I have uploaded the same gpx file into memory map for other purposes and
it appears in exactly the correct place so I know it is a valid file
with correct information.

I have tried deleting the file and uploading it again but the result
remains the same.  

I will be grateful for any assistance.
