James

First of all welcome to the OSM community.

I assume you are trying to find your gpx file, and create and edit the paths
in the online applet.

There currently seems to be a problem with the applet, and the tiled
background and gpx traces are not showing up.

If you want to create some OSM data from your GPX trace you'll currently
have to use one of the off line editors, I'd recommend JOSM, which can be
downloaded from http://www.eigenheimstrasse.de/josm/josm-latest.jar

Help for JOSM can be found http://josm.eigenheimstrasse.de/wiki/Help and an
outdated, but more comprehensive help here
http://wiki.eigenheimstrasse.de/wiki/JOSM/User_Manual
