I gather the Sirf Star III chipset used will talk NMEA as well as its
own proprietary protocol; I don't know whether it supports any form of
logging itself, or if you'd need to get a PDA doing it in real time via
bluetooth, USB, RS232 cable, whatever.
I would presume - naively perhaps - that any GPS unit with some form of
serial connection will talk to a host in a useful way.
I'm trying to find out the same about the Holux 236, which is looking
very cheap on eBay lately, but will be useless to me unless it does its
own logging (I am _not_ mounting a PDA beside it on my handlebars...!)
