[OSM-talk] Big GPX upload

Hello all,

I've finally uploaded all my legacy geowiki.com GPS tracks (2002-2004).

Most of these were downloaded from my eTrex using a program which shall
remain nameless but which had a rather dodgy lat/long->OSGB conversion
routine. Getting them back into the original lat/long has required a
bit of processing... superimposing them on a bunch of pure GPX tracks
suggests they're ok now.

All are for the UK, except for the Eurostar line to Brussels. They
should be especially useful for those mapping A and B roads around the
"greater Midlands", because that's where I tend to do most of my
driving. Total distance is just under 8000 miles. All tracks are
public.

Because they were recorded with an original yellow eTrex, which logs
more points on corners than on straight sections, they're more suited
for use in an app like JOSM (which can join the dots between points)
than in the applet. Consequently, should anyone want to download them,
here's a zip of all of them plus tracks I've collected since:

(3.4Mb file)

Also uploaded to the wiki are some very old waypoints I collected back
in 1999 or so:

Have fun :)

cheers
Richard
