[OSM-talk] Good deal on Garmin GPS unit

Perhaps kinda off-topic but I guess lots of people here ordered the GPSMAP
76c.

I ordered mine last week, it was delivered to the Netherlands next-day. Very
nice.
I was also shocked to see how big it was, and i had to compare it to my
Geko 201 :) so my shock was bigger...
But it is an absolutely excellent device. The mapping is great and display
very readable. I've just ordered City Navigator Europe to get routing more
accurate.

Egnos was also working properly yesterday. I even got +/- 1 meter accuracy
for a
short period! And according to the TOPO maps it was right at the time.

I will be using this device to get tracks for OSM but have to get a cycle
mount first.
I probably won't be using the Geko unless i really don't want the extra
weight.

BTW: It is sold out now...

Greetings,
Floris Looyesteyn
