However, it is clearly wrong, since at zoom=14 it shows 100 pixels 
as 500 meters both in Sweden (lat=60) and in Gabon (lat=0). If it 
is correct at the equator, the 100 pixels should be 250 meters at 
lat=60 and 0 meters at lat=90.  Never mind, this is a very minor 
and only cosmetic error.
