What would be really useful in the API would be a trackpoints call, but
instead of just returning a bunch of points, would return a concatenation of
all the public gpx files that have traces that enter that bounding box.
It wouldn't matter _who_ those traces came from, just that they are traces.
This would be *really good* for JOSM, because then it could use that call,
and it would actually be able to draw lines between the dots, which makes
the Garmin derived traces a lot easier to understand (since they seem to
drop a trackpoint only on corners).
