Yes but if you can blank out the bit with your house, and remove the
time stamps - or you will be able to soon.

No this is a different issue - that was the whole point of my starting
this thread.
My point was that it needs to be possible for people to be held to
account for their submissions, segments as well as GPX points. The
question is: why should people expect to be able to contribute but not
be accountable?
If you want your movements kept totally private (ie. if being
psuedonymous is not enough) you shouldn't contribute at all - after
all the feds can seize the servers, or the courts subpoena stuff.
