Projection is square/plate carré/unprojected -- that's next on my list of 
things to fix (or perhaps second, after doing an Isle of Wight atlas with 
recent data ;)

I've put a ZIP file on the web, so you can download all the required files at 
once, rather than gathering it all from wiki pages.  I'll update that soon to 
include the "Planet.osm to text" script as well, so that the ZIP contains 
everything needed to do OSM to PDF.

Does someone need to create an account for me on SVN, or will the 
openstreetmap.org usernames work ?

p.s. I tried using the "full resolution" coastlines for Norway, and it ran out 
of memory on my superbly high-spec PC at work - and would have taken about 3 
hours to do 10 pages of maps -- so looks like it will take a bit more 
optimisation before we get good coastline detail for the islands and 
inlets...
