I don't drive so to me secondary sounds like a street that is a little
bit bigger than a normal street through a residential area. That's my
description for "class=secondary", it wrong I know. Tell me how can
there  be a consensus if it's hard to understand the point of refernce
that other people have?

E.g. for me one of the most usefull tags have been
"car|bike|foot|perambulator(?)"=no. Actually I use barnvagn=no. That's
not a Barn wagon;

So you are right there will be problems with multiple schemas for
naming features on a map, but I 'm just telling you that there will be
as many problems with just one schema. Because there will always be
stupid people who basterize your schema..


The only way to solve this is by either making the applet less
flexible, or using a visual insentive like openlayers and osmarender.
(preferably automatic)...
