But then no-one would be able to register discontent. That would be utterly
dictatorial, its a classic ploy of authoritarian regimes to have one person
standing for election, then not bother with the election on the grounds that
no-one else could win anyway. Not that I'm suggesting Steve or any other
nominees are planning world domination or anything...
