Yes, you can use your browser's bookmark. You need to bookmark the link
that the "edit" tab points to. This gets updated to link to the current
page.

I use mine set to Time=>3seconds for cycling, and Auto->Highest for
driving. Maybe we should have a page for each type of GPS with people's
suggested configurations.

I think that a lot of people object to the privacy implications, but
I heard rumours that the rss feed might help here. For Oxford we use a
page on the wiki to co-ordinate.

I cycled about 50km over 3 hours yesterday to do one of the towns near
here. I also took photos of a lot of the road signs and took advantage of
the new feature of JOSM to import the images. Apart from the import
being a bit slow it was really handy, particularly the time sync
feature.
