Currently JOSM.
I started with the Java applet and it was too clunky/slow, I then tried 
OSMEditor (on windows) and didn't get on very well at all :)

I am thinking of writing a COM wrapper to OSM, possibly with a nice 
AutoRoute style interface :)

Is there any anonymous access to the underlying data?
