Yep, this sort of annotation layer on top of the maps is something I'd love 
to spend more time on, not just photos but arbitrary annotations.  Right 
now, I have no cycles for anything, but definately I'm looking to get some 
re-use of the underlying data in more interesting renderings with 
collaborative things on top.

There's not many tuits around here though... unfortunately
