[OSM-talk] paper plots

Hi guys,
I'm pretty interested in this area too. I'd like to encorporate some sort
of functionality that allows a mobile device (PDA, Mobile Phone) to download
OSM data for the area that it is in, solving some of these issues. Do you
think being able to access all the attributes of features on such a device
would be usefull/practical? Or would a scaled down version of the data be
more appropriate - segments and ways with only a few (or no) attributes
(other than id).
