This would be quite a good thing to implement actually.  When a GPX
trace is uploaded, there should be some way of specifying what it is
actually a trace of (e.g. road, ferry, railway, flightpath etc.).  Also
the editors would need to have a way of selecting which types of GPX
data to download.  For instance, if an editing session was focussed on
roads, then only "road" GPX data would be selected.
