fon.com is a provider of shared wifi points. They organize private
individuals who want to share their wifi access point and publish
that list. Fon.com is just like vodaphone, t-mobile or other wireless
access providers. My point being : we can copy their data inside
OSM and be constantly out of date. Or we can create mashups that
use openstreetmap for the maps and their published list of accesspoints.

As I understood this, I vote pro/anti official _endorsment_ of a tag.
Not pro/against allowing a certain tag.
