GPS tracks have a certain unique lack of anonymity to them.  For
instance, someone who lives in a very distinctive location, or has
high enough resolution tracks to distinguish their house.  Maybe it's
the human filtering capability that's unique - A person would know
where to look for the data and what to infer from it.

That's kind of a waffly way of saying "If I know where you live and
you're tracked there then it's not anonymous any more".  You'd have to
prune off the ends of journeys to ensure anonymity.
