Isn't that even more complicated? How are you going to determine the policy of 
bus companies for every route, and then account for rogue bus drivers who 
sometimes let you off at random points if you're very nice? :o)

Grab the full routes with as much metadata as possible, and if someone can set 
up a place to collect this apart from the main OSM database then that would 
be fantastic!
