[OSM-talk] Osmarender with streetnames and creating svg

Two questions in one email I'm afraid.

When I run render my data with osmarender,  the streetnames don't show
up even though I've used the tags name: Streetname. Is there a tweak
or something to fix this?

Also, how do I got about creating an svg file so I can show my friends
my hard work and try and persuade them to have a go at mapping their
areas?
