Well it's impossible to totally guard against getting sued. Do you
think that in response to any legal threat, however unfoundered, we
should back down? There has to be a line drawn somewhere. I'm merely
saying that the line could be drawn in a slightly different place than
it is at present. (Note that in my work on OSM i haven't used OS maps
at all, in line with the current policy.)
I'm sure we'll get sued at some point by the ordnance survey anyway -
it's clearly an organisation run by very nasty individuals, who are
not going to be at all happy with a map that can compete with theirs,
and will probably be better.
