I'm not sure they're quite good enough to show people. We really want nice 
examples from people who've tuned scale, font sizes etc, and can explain 
how/why they picked the values that they did

I've updated example_debian.sh so that it plays nicely, and done an 
example_redhat.sh. These check that you have the right things installed, 
and download a sample area (unless you give a bbox on the command line)

I've put in a stub one, pointing back to places on the wiki. What we 
really need though are more guides on the parameters on the wiki (eg why 
to choose one scale parameter or another, when you want to edit font sizes 
and when they scale correctly etc)
