[OSM-talk] GPS base maps from OSM data

I have now added a new feature to Freemap to generate GPS base maps from OSM 
data. This is an extension of earlier work by Mikel and (separately) myself 
and now offers a reasonably smooth way to get OSM data from any arbitrary 
area in the UK into your GPS. (Sorry... it is UK only because Freemap is UK

I have already used this to create a base GPS map of the New Forest which
