I'm not surprised at all. It’s the general consumer and public out there.
The vast majority care not a jot as to where the data comes from (open data
or otherwise), it's that it's actually delivered to them that’s important.
Instant access to reliable data is a must if you want to deliver to a wholly
scalable audience and the reality is that projects like ours can rarely if
ever achieve that.

It won't be the last time that an event like this brings the OSM platform to
a complete halt or the last time that those that just click links make
frustrated comments when the links don’t perform and give them anything.
