Agree with 1 and 2a. (Both of these are offered by CC-BY as well.)

Not sure about 2b and 3. They make sense to you because (I'm guessing) 
you're a copyleft enthusiast. But OSM isn't here to promote copyleft in 
guidebooks and leaflets, it's here to encourage and provide free 
geospatial data. 3 assumes the mapper actively wants to expand the 
Creative Commons in the first place!
