[OSM-talk] Front page design

If the look of the page is nearing completion we should turn our focus to
the actual words. Foundation officers and others, can we get some feedback
on the words used. Are they all appropriate or should any be
changed/deleted. Do we need to have ltd referenced somewhere or is the link
to the Foundation page sufficient? Seem to recall there are some
requirements for displaying registered identity somewhere.
SteveC is indicating that the page would not show login. That would only
occur when moving to edit the map or the wiki. It removes that script
requirement from the front page.
Removing the need for any scripting at all on this front page would be even
better so that we have reduced the likelihood of the page being taken down
due to hit volume but that would mean loosing the "next event" bit at the
bottom?.
I think if we can get these final issues cleared today there is little
reason not to turn this live as soon as SteveC is able.
Cheers
Andy
