Public domain sources of data don't make derivative products public
domain also. It's not like a ShareAlike license. One can random
restriction of his own to the license.
If I only use public domain source for my work, I may still be able to
claim copyright over it. So, please either use the original public
domain source directly, or don't do this. Otherwise, you may be
compromising the data.
