Yes, something like that would be optimal, and I have "button 3" 
free for this, but in Settings->Buttons there is no alternative 
such as "Record". The best I can do is to launch the "Notes" 
application, but then I have to click twice on the screen (first 
"New", then the red dot to start a recording) before I can speak.
