Hi Tom,
But doesn't that give the English version the default prominence, as it
were? I know some people who'd be a mite touchy about that :-) - perhaps
use name:en and name:cym rather than just name? And do the renderers
deal with that OK?

As I've been mapping odd bits of Wales, mainly Mold and Wrexham, I've
come across similar bilingual signs. I was told use name= for the
English name and name:cym= for the Welsh name so that's what I've been
doing since.
Which brings the point, is it worth rendering the other language names
in the slippy map tiles? Or simply creating foreign language maps in
future, maybe as a separate map layer as T at H supports it?
