[OSM-talk] highway = viaduct deprecated?

Ok, I forgot about the nodes already tagged highway=viaduct.
Inspired by a comment on the Talk:Map_Features page, I tried to think of a
definition for each key and value, but couldn't think of one for viaduct
other than bridge. It is hard for an newbie like me to "know" my tagging is
"correct". In what way would this tag be useful, as I figure a (lineair)
bridge is capable of carrying every way?
