This is actually a great step forward.  It looks like the Mapnik 
layer, but it's up-to-date and you can zoom in everywhere without 
getting broken or missing tiles.  Christopher showed me how he 
managed to make the update (from reading the planet.osm to showing 
the new tiles) in just an hour.  If we could have a new planet.osm 
twice a day, rather than once a week, the slippy map could be a 
much greater joy than it currently is.  Maybe there is a way to do 
the full dump once a week, and add daily increments?
