Strange thing is, when I run *just* close-areas.pl and not Frollo on the 
tile, everything looks right. The case that you describe *should* be 
handled correctly. But somehow when I run Frollo on the result, 
everything breaks. Maybe close-areas.pl creates some kind of invalid 
structure that inkscape is happy to render, but Frollo doesn't like or so.

I'll try to make a simple case with a small number of segments to get to 
the core of this.
