Not sure if anyone "agrees", but on this proposal
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Proposed_features/External_links
I suggested a tag like
wikipedia=Bath, Somerset
which other people have suggested should be
wikipedia:en=Bath, Somerset
or for brevity:
wikipedia:ru=Бат
(you'd then use wikipedia's own interlanguage links if you want articles in a
different language)
Of course, we then hit wikipedia's famous "notability" debate. e.g. according
to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Transport_in_Bedfordshire
the Bedfordshire map should comprise a motorway, an airport, some A-roads, and
Great Barford bridge. It seems you'd struggle to keep your notes from being
deleted, if you stored them on wikipedia.
