Forgot to say. I've changed the system on Freemap so a popup appears 
containing at present, just the link to Wikipedia for all POIs, whether it's 
relevant or not. I also (another of those very small tasks which I've been 
meaning to do for a while but only now done!) now save the user's lat and lon 
in a cookie so if they do go away to Wikipedia they come back to the same 
location on Freemap.
