[OSM-talk] coastline polygons

Hello, 

Just a follow up on the coastline conversion.  I spent about two hours last 
Sunday being  'mturk'  and this is my progress :

Dataset  covers all europe, north africa but not america, australia and nz . 
There is also nice side effect from using tiles -  areas with no processed 
polygons can be still rendered as land (square tile) with coastline 
(LineString) on top. 

Unless there are some better ideas I'm planning to start using new dataset for 
the next slippy map update.
