Hi Nick,

Many thanks for your reply. I would like to learn more on the process of
converting OSM into Shapefile. I have also posted another enquiry about
Artem's reply on using osm2pgsql.c. basically I am win2k user with winGRASS
installed and I wanted to put UK streetmap into GRASS. I am newbie to GRASS
and not a Linux user. So I have not got a clue how to do the conversion at
all. For instance where do I put the script osm2shp? in a C compiler? Do I
need MinGW? What is the command involved? Please help, your advice is much
appreciated.

Best Regards
Casey
