fair enough. There is perhaps a need for both then.

If you like. I was actually proposing to have the tag as just 'tbc=<info>',
but I have no objection to 'hbd=<...>' or 'here_be_dragons=<...>'.

Indeed. But I'm talking about people who are looking at the map, not mapping
it. You can never completely trust the map because of the nature of the
beast, but a user can apply particular caution if it explicitly tells you
not to trust it because the mapper *knows* and *wants to tell you* that
there is information wrong or missing. Or another prospective mapper can
take that as a prompt to go do that area.
