For single-shot use I can offer a shapefile containing all LINESTRING
objects here:

It's pretty small, just 35 MByte. Please notice that this file is being
updated only occasionally (as this is just a by-product of a different
project) and not on a regular basis. This shapefile was made from the
planet-070207 dump,
