I am willing to work on this if

a) there are at least two other people on this list willing to work with
   me on this and

b) there are at least five other people on this list who agree that the
   current data model is not good enough and it might be worthwhile to
   consider a new one

c) Steve doesn't say that he will not consider a new model anyway.

The working-party should also agree on a time limit for their endeavour,
I suggest somewhere between the end of January and the end of February.
