[OSM-talk] tiles at home stats

The tiles at home server should now produce a list of who uploaded each tile
when:

http://dev.openstreetmap.org/~ojw/Stats/

It replaces the old statistics page, allowing each person to find out in much
better detail things they're interested in. Some people might want to plot
graphs from that, e.g. of their own uploads, or of how densely covered
various places are. Some people might use it to check their uploads were
successful, or as tools for detecting tile spam, or to check their requested
areas were rendered. It can be used to see which LowZoom tiles need
updating, which old-but-interesting tiles might be due for an update, or
which tiles need to be re-rendered after an osmarender update, or after
detecting a faulty rendering client. It can be used to search for interesting
tiles, recent tiles, or tiles by uploader.

Basically, it should be much more flexible than the server-generated graphs,
but people need to decide what stats they're interested in and write
something to display them.

----------------- start of technical stuff -----------------

The code to dump that information is still very slow - source is available if
anyone wants to suggest why? (I'll put the database schema up somewhere too)

What frequency do people want it to be generated? Weekly? Daily?

----------------- end of technical stuff -----------------

Regards,

OJW
