[OSM-talk] country borders from CIA world databook?

Hi,


Did / does somebody try to import border data from the CIA world 
databook? All I saw in the mailing list archives is about coast line 
imports, but never about country borders.

Is there a restriction against that data or is it a case of "no-one got 
around to do it" ?
