UK GEOforum 2007 Lecture, featuring guest speaker:
Dr David Williams, Director General of the British National Space Centre
Title: The Role of Space in Geospatial Data
This lecture will cover the contribution that space technologies such as
earth observation and global positioning satellites play in the
development of Geospatial data sets and practical applications on the
ground, with particular reference to current programmes such as Galileo
and GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security).
