[OSM-talk] revert

hi,
yesterday I spent some hours refining the area I live in, and today the map is 
completely screwed up: Everywhere I inserted points (to smooth the road) both 
segments are now present.
It's as if somebody uploaded the old map without removing my new data (thus 
restoring the old segments and ways). I don't want to blame anybody (in the 
worst case it was me), but is there a way to get the data back? I just spent 
another hour fixing the ways ... but I am still not complete and I'm pretty 
sure, that the nodes are not at their "new" positions anymore. Even worse I 
can't upload anymore:
"Error while parsing: Ann error occoured: 404 Not Found"

btw the area is "Sophia Antipolis" near Nice:
