- From my point of view it's "a". Now I'm stumped why the rendering wasn't
aborted, I tested such areas and my tiles at home client did not continue
to render when any one of the slices failed to download.

So either the Server response is different now so that every t at h client
now detects these situations wrongly, or one platform has a problem or
someone manually rendered that area, to have an update at all.
