Downloading Firefox 2 seems to have cured the problem for me.
PS: overwriting software on the corporate desktop is a seriously non-PC
thing to do (sorry about pun) around this institution, as if you do a
maintenance call later the engineer will be straight out with the "well
what do expect if you mess up the corp desktop" line!
Cheers

Is anyone else getting weird effects when using the slippy map today
(Firefox 1.0.7, mapnik layer)?
If I use the shift/bb drag method of re-sizing it leaves a marker which
HAS to be used for another re-size (ie doesn't de-select).
If I pan with a mouse drag it doesn't "drop" the new position when you
stop dragging (keeps dragging when you move mouse - doesn't de-select).
Is it just me? Shall I go away and come back another day?
Works OK here on FF2.
1.0.7 is quite old though, upgrade?
I also noticed we're still using old OpenLayers on main page. Is there
any reason or should I (or anyone) fix this?
