[OSM-talk] on-road cycle routes

Is there any current rendering system that takes account of that takes
account of cycle related tags for roads, e.g.

route=ncn
ncn_ref=N4

and are there any other relevant tags that I'm missing?

Is it necessary to add:

bicycle=yes


If a path is mixed use foot and cycle, e.g. The Avon Walkway, Bristol,
what's the best method to tag this?  is it:

highway=footway
bicycle=yes

or the other way around, or something else?
