You can't delete segment 26843707 as it is part of way 4794686:

  http://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.4/segment/26843707/ways

Equally, node 30761938 is used by segment 26843707:

  http://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.4/node/30761938/segments

If you deleted that way, was there not a preceding line in the josm
output showing it deleting that way? If there was, did it get a 200
response or not?
